United Development Initiatives for Programmed Actions–(UDDIPAN) started functioning from 1984. It is a national level non-profit organization to promote & enhance of human rights of the poor, underprivileged & disadvantaged segments of the country with prime focus on the participation of children, youths, women & men.
UDDIPAN started Micro-Finance Program from 1989. Now UDDIPAN Micro-Finance Program’s working area coverage 64 Districts, 465 Upazillas, 1,545 unions and 11,106 villages through 1000 branches. Micro-Finance staffs are 6,997.
Micro Finance Program (MFP) of UDDIPAN is a major economic initiative by which the target beneficiaries try to change their economic vulnerability to achieve a minimum standard of life.

Jagoron:
This Credit Product is implemented in 321 branches under 40 Districts for the poor target members mostly women so as to undertake employment cum- income generating activities. The loan disbursement range of this loan product is up to 70,000 taka.
The main objectives of this product are –
- To enhance women empowerment
- To increase the income of the poor household
- To create employment opportunity
Sufolon ( Agriculture based Loan Program):
This Credit Product is implemented in 231 branches under 31 Districts. Loan is provided to target poor who have taken agriculture as profession. The loan has been disbursed in different agricultural activities/sectors mainly crop productions, fisheries, livestock, food processing and agriculture machineries considering as more profitable ones which vary from season to season and areas as well. The loan disbursement range of this loan product is up to 60,000 taka.
Buniad (Ultra Poor Program):
Buniad loan product is implementing in 133 branches under 20 districts. Basically this is flexible loan program for ultra-poor people for main esteeming to development. The major objectives of the Program are to provide flexible loan, disaster management (Consumption) loan, IGA and vocational training, primary health care, pre-primary education, scholarship for education, nutrition support, IGA input support, technical support for IGA establishment, and other capacity building support. Finally the beneficiaries become capable to develop and implement income generating activities in a sustainable manner. The loan disbursement range of this loan product is up to 30,000 taka.
Water Sanitation & Hygiene (WASH)::
The project with the support of Water. Org has been implementing in 56 branches under 9 districts (Comilla, Chittagong, Chandpur, Patuakhali, Pirojpur, Barisal & Rangpur). Major Objective: Development of Water Sanitation & Hygiene Condition. Main activities are: Training, Workshop, Issue base Meeting & Micro Finance Support. The loan disbursement range of this loan product is up to 1,00,000 taka.
Small and Marginal Sized Farmers Agricultural Productivity and Diversification Financing project (SMAP):
Production, food security and create employment opportunities through increasing investment in agriculture sector. UDDIPAN also has started Small and Marginal Sized Farmers Agricultural Productivity and Diversification Financing Project (SMAP) through the assistance of Bangladesh Bank since 2015 with an aim to increase agricultural productivity and diversity of the small and marginal farmers of Bangladesh by financing agricultural loans and providing agricultural technical support service to farmers in 79 Branches 65 upazilas under 14 districts.
Kuwait Goodwill Fund (KGF) for food security:
This project has been implementing in 8 Branches of 4 Upazilas under Comilla & Kushtia Districts through the assistance of PKSF. The objective of this Project is to increase Food Security and livelihood, knowledge building on modern agricultural technologies and employment creation.
Learning and Innovation Fund to Test New Ideas (LIFT):
This initiative is being taken in 9 branches of Kurigram Sadar, Chilmari, Golachipa, Kalapara and Doshmina Upzila of Kurigram, Patuakali and Borguna district respectively. This program is implementing there as those areas are disaster prone and every year many families lost their houses with cultivable lands by river erosion and become landless. This program is implementing under “Learning and Innovation Fund to Test New Ideas (LIFT)”. The loan disbursement range of this loan product is up to 50,000 taka.
